Our priests have given their lives to us, the people of the Diocese of Saskatoon. They have faithfully led their parish communities, preaching God’s word and celebrating the sacraments. We have been blessed to have dedicated and holy priests, and the blessings continue to this day. Our retired priests continue to celebrate Masses, preside at funerals, weddings, and baptisms, provide retreats, minister and counsel parishioners, and so much more.
Our senior priests provide a vital resource for us and current pastors. Whether still active in ministry or not, our retired priests make Christ, the Good Shepherd, present to us, not only in what they do but in who they are. They give witness to the Lord’s presence not only by their words but by their lives.
As you may know, the retirement years can be difficult for our senior priests. No longer supported by their parish communities, they rely on retirement benefits and their pension from the Priests’ Pension and Retirement Fund for basic needs, such as food, housing, health costs, and transportation.
Please, give generously in support of our retired Priests. You can make your gift online using the online form or download the pledge form and mail it into:
