A Collection for the Needs of the Canadian Church will be held on the Feb. 6-7 weekend in parishes across the Roman Catholic Diocese of Saskatoon. This collection supports the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) in their work to meet the Needs of the Canadian Church. Faced with a range of challenges and needs, the Catholic Bishops of Canada respond on many fronts. Our Canadian bishops are supported and assisted in their ministry of leading, shepherding, teaching, guiding, sanctifying and caring for the Church in Canada by your gift to the Collection for the Needs of the Canadian Church. Your gift supports the CCCB’s involvement in a wide range of national and international areas of pastoral activity, such as Social justice, Ecumenical and interfaith relations, Collaboration with Indigenous Peoples, Life and family issues, Liturgy, Catechesis, Doctrine, Communications, and Relations with Catholic associations and movements.
